About me

My name means “river water.”

My name means “river water” in Chinese, and I hope to bring something of that quality into my work: gentleness and steadiness, alongside strength. My personal experience has been shaped by a lineage that has lived through historical loss and resilience. As a therapist, I carry this legacy as a commitment: not to abandon what is true, even when it may be painful; not to condemn the parts of us that deserve protection and love; and not to let fear become our only direction.

Neurodiversity-affirming
LGBTQ2S+-affirming
Practising under clinical supervision

Outside of my clinical and academic work, I am an adult figure skater. I began skating in 2022, and the ice has become an embodied place of learning for me. Skating has taught me about falling, fear, trust, connection, and the courage to let go. In many ways, it continues to remind me that growth is not only something we understand with the mind, but something we slowly learn through the body, through practice, and within a safe relationship.

My practice is neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQ2S+-affirming, and I welcome clients across a range of identities, experiences, and ways of being.

Professional Credentials

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO, Registration No. 22649) and a registrant of the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA, Registration No. 3334). I practise with ongoing clinical supervision.
